My Home Haemodialysis is a software service currently in use at the Nepean Hospital, Blacktown Hospital and Liverpool Hospital.
This service consists of a mobile app and a web dashboard that allows dialysis patients to record their dialysis parameters and for clinicians to monitor and provide feedback.
Popfit is a group-based weight management app built for the Nepean Family Metabolic Health Service (NFMHS). The app allows patients to record and customise their goal setting, keep track of their progress and connect with other patients. The clinical staff at NFMHS are further able to monitor and send feedback and encouragements via a web dashboard.
Success CKD is the app platform that is used in the $1.4 million clinical study by the School of Public Health at the University of Sydney. The app is developed with the goal of providing improved health literacy, education and aims to connect the health team around various LHDs with the dialysis community. The trial is currently in place and recruitment has begun since late 2020.
The My VLED App is part of a clinical improvement initiative supported by the Charles Perkins Centre and is intended for patients that are attending the Metabolism and Obesity Service at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney Local Health District. The app serves as a platform for patients to manage their Very Low Energy Diet (VLED) Programme, and for clinicians to monitor and interact with their patients.
The LivePulse App is used as a data collection, analytics and management tool for the Lifestyle Vulnerable Plaque Study at the Charles Perkins Centre. The study has received over $2 mil funding and is expected to run for a duration of 5 years. The app integrates with Fitbit and serves as a management and learning tool for the patients to record and manage their lifestyle habits. It further enables the study team to monitor, collect and analyse the data recorded by the patients.
